In 2004, Sculptor Ron Petitt was commissioned to create a memorial honoring the police officers of the Beaumont Texas Police Department. Ron was given complete artistic freedom in his design. Combining bronze, stainless steel and black granite, the Memorial is a truly unique tribute to the fallen officers, their families and those that continue to serve. The Memorial was dedicated August 17, 2005.
