In 2019 the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 292, commissioned artist Ron Petitt to create a lasting tribute to all Vietnam war veterans. The memorial was dedicated on Vietnam Veterans Day. March 29, 2021.
The Memorial is located at the Ben J. Rogers Visitor Center in Beaumont Texas
